It Starts With Meeting Jesus

Salvation

Taking the step of faith to follow Jesus Christ is the greatest step you will ever take. It’s the one action that will allow you to experience new opportunities and gain a new perspective on life and what God has in store for you.

In John 10:10 Jesus said,

“...I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

That abundant life began the moment you stepped over the line of faith. But that is just the beginning. You’ve taken the first step; now what? The Next Steps page will give you an idea of what’s next, and tell you what the Bible,
God’s Word, says about each step.

You may still have questions about your decision. You may even have doubts. That’s okay. But don’t let those questions or doubts stop you from moving forward. Use those things to fuel your walk and continue to experience the abundant
life one step at a time.

ABC's of Salvation
for Children

As the parent and or guardian, to walk through the ABCs of salvation with them. This will help you gauge the understanding your child has about salvation.

A- Admit

Does your child understand the concept of sin and that everyone has sin? Do they understand that everyone needs salvation? Admitting they have Sin and need Jesus is step one as it shows an understanding of repentance! (Rom. 3:23), (Rom. 3:10- 18), (Rom. 6:23).

B- Believe

Believe in Jesus Christ as God’s Son and receive Jesus’ gift of forgiveness from sin. God loves each of us. God offers us salvation. Although we have done nothing to deserve His love, He wants to have a relationship with us! Believing is step two as it shows and understanding of Grace - “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

C- Confess

Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior to both Him and to others is step three, it shows a clear understanding of both repentance and grace and that Christ is the answer! “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Rom. 10:9-10)
